We have stayed at this hotel twice before we stayed again this time. The location is fabulous, very close to all of the attractions. It was tired when we last stayed and some investment has been made. The rooms are nice. There was a big wedding when we were there this time and we felt like we were intruding somewhat as it was by the pool when we were sunbathing. We did not mind although the noise went on until late.

Overall, very friendly, great location, lovely pool. Would stay there next time. Great value!

Just got back from 3 nights in Seville. The hotel is excellently located and our room (211) was very spacious. There were drawbacks though.

Apparently the hotel has been upgraded or renovated but I don't think to an especially high standard. The spacious bathroom in particular was last looked at in the 60's or 70's I'd say. It was fine but dated. The toilet cistern (noted by another reviewer) was broken and continually filled itself during the night which was noisy. The cleaners tried to fix this so the hotel should have known about it.

Also noted by another reviewer was the noise from the hotel bar above the room. We stayed Monday to Wednesday nights and the first two nights were largely peaceful. The only thing to bear in mind is that because all the floors are stone, noise from activity way outside the room will travel in so you can always hear bangs etc from other guests coming and going. Apart from this Monday & Tuesday were great and very quiet. Our room (211) also had great access to the roof pool - the stairs are opposite the door. The pool itself is great for a dip but the picture on the website is well taken as it makes it look much bigger than it is.

However, as I said earlier, a room under the roof bar area started to become a burden on the Wednesday night. The area was hired out for a birthday party which wasn't too noisy at first but when people move chairs/tables on the stone floor - the noise is too much to sleep through when you're underneath it. The party finished about 2:30 am and a lot of young, drunk, happy but noisy spaniards left.

We didn't eat at the hotel so we can't comment on the food. There are plenty of places nearby to sample food.

Overall - I wouldn't say this is a 4 star hotel - its definitely 3 star. It is an excellent location though with some generous room sizes.

The hotel would be very difficult to find it we had to find it ourselves so a taxi is definitely a great option from the airport. It will cost 30 euro's each way though.

I can't understand some reviewers mentioning the noises from bells - its Seville ! There are loads of churches & bells - that's part of the character and you quickly get used to it.

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel. Although it is hard to find, (as its located in the heart of the old part of Seville), once we arrived, we were amazed at the charm and beauty the hotel offered. The room was spectacular - large, spacious room, very modern, with beautiful furniture and overall comfy atmosphere. The pool was amazing, especially mid-afternoon, after spending the day sightseeing, relaxing by the pool was such a relief from the hot sun. We were there in the middle of July, and although the pool was busy at times, it's the perfect size pool for the size of the hotel. There was never a day that the pool was crowded. And the view from the pool was phenomenal, especially in the night, with the Cathedral all lit up. Location was obviously key as well. The hotel is in the heart of the down town, right next to the Cathedral and the Gardens. Every where we wanted to go was a short walk away. Finally, the staff was beyond helpful - absolutely amazing. My friend had trouble booking travel beyond Seville, and the front desk staff were more than happy to help, spending the time on the phone with bus ticket people, arranging hotel rooms in Barcelona, etc. They recommended great restaurants and bars that were not touristy but rather gave you a flavour of what the local people experience. On my last day there, my flight was not until late in the evening and although I checked out of my hotel room at 11am, they offered me storage for my luggage, a towel so I could spend time by the pool that afternoon and shampoo/soap to be able to wash afterwards. This hotel is definitely worth the 4 star status that it has and I would recommend it to anyone. Thanks Hotel Husa Los Seises for an amazing experience!

We recently stayed in this hotel during our second visit to Seville...as we have previous experience of a 4 star hotel in Seville we now have something to compare and contrast Hotel Los Seises to.

Our hotel room was huge compared to the previous hotel we stayed in; however the walls were paper thin and we could hear noise from beside, above and below us meaning that we didn't get a decent nights sleep at all during our stay.

In addition the windows were tiny with no natural light so the lighting in the room should have compensated - it didn't. There was a problem with the wiring and we were unable to turn on either of our bed side lamps without the trip switch going off leaving us with no electricity or air conditioning in the room. We reported this several times to the front desk only to be dismissed out of hand. When we pressed the issue they advised that they would send someone to the room this never happened. We ended up locating the trip switch and fixing the issue ourselves.

There was a smell in the room when the air conditioning was off, this was so bad we had to buy air fresheners for the room. The air conditioning started to pump out hot air on our second last night; again we approached the staff and the issue was fixed temporarily only to have it reoccur in the middle of our last night. Needless to say we didn't sleep a wink.

Without wishing to be completely one-sided we can't say that the location of the hotel wasn't amazing and all the main sights are within a short distance walk .

The pool was smaller that the picture would have you believe however the area around the pool was large and there was plenty of space to sit around the pool to relax.
The pool area turns into a bar at night but if you are sleeping directly under the bar area (anywhere on the 2nd floor) you can hear the furniture being dragged across the floor all night.

In summary Customer Service was not a priority for this hotel and did not meet the standards we expected from our previous experience of a 4 star hotel in Seville. As a previous reviewer advised none of the amenities were explained upon arrival and we didn't realize that you could hire bikes in the hotel until it was too late. It is also our opinion that is a 4 Star hotel acting like a 2 star hotel and should charge customers as such. This hotel is acting on it's location rather than services.

In general the negatives hugely out weigh the positives and for the price of this hotel you can definitely do better for the money in Seville
