This hotel has a great location but also a staff that was very helpful and friendly. We even extended our stay another night instead of moving on to another city as planned. We really enjoyed our stay here!

We booked this hotel after reading all the very positive reviews on Tripadvisor and once again we were not disappointed. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, recommending excellent restaurants and tapas bars as well as places to visit. The complimentary breakfast is very good and the relaxed surroundings of the interior patio make breakfast and afternoon tea (also free of charge) a very enjoyable experience. The hotel is beautifully appointed and the rooms are warm and very comfortable. The bathroom was immaculately clean. The situation of the hotel is perfect just a two minute walk from the Cathedral and the Real Alcázar although there was some street noise until the early hours as there are several lively tapas bars nearby. Not enough to put us off staying here again though and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it!
We absolutely LOVED this beautiful, small and friendly hotel. It's in a super spot right near the Cathedral in a lovely old building. Everything centres round a central internal courtyard. We were travelling with our daughter and had 3 nights here. The rooms are small but we managed - we're more concerned with being in the best location and having a lovely hotel - the room size is not our priority. That said - this hotel was faultless. The bathroom was roomy with a super big bath - very modern and clean. The girls on the desk were more than helpful with huge smiles. They helped us book tickets for the Alhambra - we stayed at the Granada Casa 1800 after this one and called the Granada hotel to confirm our arrangements (once we arrived at Granada we were actually upgraded). We loved the breakfast here and from 4.30pm they provide complimentary afternoon tea. A really nice idea - we certainly took advantage of this - one day we took our snacks and tea up to the rooftop garden. You have a stunning view of the Cathedral (super at night too) and on a lovely warm winter's day - this was beautiful. We would certainly stay here again and would recommend this hotel to everyone. As long as you're not expecting an enormous room, you will love it here too.
My husband and I stayed at Casa 1800 for our first wedding anniversary in early Feb when it was -2c at home and snowy yet in Seville you could hardly believe it with its bright blue skies and sunny days!
The hotel was in a great location - just 26 euros in a cab from the airport and right in the centre of the Santa Cruz district, next door to the cathedral and jardins alcazar. It's also just off a bustling street of tapas restaurants and bars. We went to San Marco restaurant around the corner and would highly recommend. We booked a superior room which was beautifully furnished room with a king bed. As the hotel has only been there 2 years everything is to a fantastic standard. Complimentary water from the mini bar was included as was breakfast and afternoon tea when we stayed (I think this was a special offer for a limited time only though). We loved Seville and would definitely head back and without doubt recommend and return to Casa 1800.
I booked Casa 1800 from the many positive recommendations on Tripadvisor - and I wasn't disappointed.
Hotel Casa 1800 is smack bang in the centre of the Santa Cruz district, 2 mins from the Cathedral and surrounded by lots of yummy tapas bars and resturants.
This is a boutique hotel with excellent service - the staff literally cannot do enough to help you whether it's recommending lovely bars, resturants, places to visit etc. They make you feel as if you're staying in your own home rather than a hotel.
The hotel is full of old fashioned but contemporary glamour - opulent features and lovely decorated and stylish rooms. I haven't slept so well in ages!
Breakfast is included in the cost and consists of pastries, doughnuts, muffins, toast, sandwiches, coffee and juices as well as cereal and fresh fruit. They also provide afternoon tea free of charge which includes everything available at breakfast.
There is a beautiful roof terrace (no pool) on the roof of the hotel with sun lounges (yew we sat on these in Jan it was so warm) and a view of the Cathedral.
I wouldn't stay anywhere else if I came back to Seville. Simply wonderful.
