We stayed as a family of 4 adults (2 couples) and a 3 year old at this hotel. Its a basic hotel. Booked it on expedia for less than £60 per night. The hotel is well located if you are driving to Seville. Street car parking is free if you can find a space. There is an underground parkade to the back of the hotel building. They charge €20 per day which is outrageous for a city the size of seville. The hotel staff convinced me that street parking was safe as long as you take everything out of the car.
The check-in staff was very helpful and that they helped us with good directions to old town Seville. The hotel is about 20 meters from a busstop. Take the C1 bus to old town (Prado S Sebastian) near Plaza espana (a 10-15 min ride and costs about €1.30 per person oneway). And then take the C2 bus back to the hotel. There is a large mall just down the street from the hotel which had a lot of stores and a TGIFriday's in case you are looking for some American style dining. Around the hotel there are a lot of restaurants (mainly spanish). A point to note if you have young kids is that most restaurants close from 430pm to 8pm and reopen around 8pm for dinner. As a result, we ate at the mall restaurants a couple of nights as our son fell asleep around 8pm.
Expedia states the hotel is 4 star. However, I would give it a 3 star at the best. Our rooms were clean and basic. However, the carpets were fading and the paint was peeling in both of our rooms. The decor looked a little tired in the rooms. We had requested a non-smoking room. However our room smelled of smoke. We left the windows open when we went out and the smell was mostly gone by the time we came back. The bathrooms appeared to be recently renovated and were clean. The maid staff was very good and cleaned the roooms out thoroughly.
I would only recommend this hotel if you are driving into Seville. If you are flying in or taking the train, I would suggest staying in the old part of Seville close to the tourist sites.
