The old lady and I spent a pleasant couple of nights here. The hotel is located in the centre of Seville, in a quiet pedestrian path, of which Seville has a number. It's astonishing that quite a decent size hotel is tucked away where it is. There's a Tardis like quality to it; the entrance is quite down, although down a few steps from the path, and opens into a large lobby/lounge, with a bar opening off it, much larger than one would expect from the outside.
Check in was smooth although a bit impersonal. The room was an adequate size twin with a view over the roof terrace on the floor below. All very clean and tidy, with very comforatable beds. The bathroom was fine, with a notably good (by hotel standards) shower. The quiet location, comfortable beds and the blind on the window gave us both a long and good night's sleep. There was a minbar.
Breakfast is offered, but we didn't take it seemed a bit pricey; we preferred a cheap and cheerful brekkie in one of the several thousand cafes in Seville. The bar looked fine, we didn't try that either, and we saw few others using it. A hotel bar is always going to struggle in a place with as many bars, cafes and restaurants as Seville.
The hotel was fine for a short break in a city, when all you need is a comfrtable bed and a decent bathroom. It was like hundreds of other city hotels, and lacked any particular character of its own. I would be happy to stay there again, but don't feel particularly drawn to it. Torn between 3 and 4 dots; it's probably 'good', not 'very good', but better than 'average' because of the quietness and bed comfort.
By the way, we travelled from London to Seville by train via Paris and Madrid, which is an excellent way to go, if you have the time. The Paris-Madrid sleeper is great, decent grub, decent wine, confortalble berths (as they go).
Room Tip: I expect that all the roos are quiet, given the location.
