A bargain hostel price to experience a very good hotel. The building has been renovated inside and although the room was a bit on the small side, it was clean and tidy. The receptionist was exceptionally friendly and pro-actively provided info on which buses to take to the Alhambra (20-25 minute walk) and the Albaicin quarter. It sits at a great location just 1 street in from the Gran Via, where buses run regularly to the intercity bus station in the outskirts (buses to Malaga, Cordoba, etc). Great hotel overall and very good value for money.

This was a well situated, comfortable, no-frills hotel, an overall excellent value.

At first the area in which the hotel is situated seemed a bit dodgy but i quickly found out that was not the case. The hotel is 1 street back from the main road, Gran Via, about a 30 second walk to it! The staff were helpful, some more than others, and let us try to practice our spanish. The rooms were clean and tidy, as was the rest of the hotel. There is vending machine down stairs but i wouldn't try any of the food in it. There are some nice cafes nearby which do a good breakfast. Walking through the winding streets behind the hotel takes you to some great bars.

We don't have anything else in Granada to compare it to but we had a room at Granada Centro for two nights at 35 Euros a night plus 13 euros a night for parking. We were there in January and these are likely low season prices. The GPS brought us right to the front door of the hotel and we were a little leary of all of the graffiti in the neighborhood but it turned out to be a non-issue - the neighborhood was just fine and about 50' off the main road through town providing both easy access and just enough separation from the hubbub to make it quiet. It is a quick walk to the main attractions in town, the room was very clean, the showers super hot and the internet signal strong as can be. The front desk personnel humored our attempts at Spanish but both spoke great English also. The only complaint that I might mention is the super-strong cleaning product smell that permeated the hall and room that was alleviated by airing out our room for about 15 minutes. All in all it was a great place to stay and the price was right.
