“Nice hotel, great restaurant, spotless location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2011

The rooms are average small, but cozy, my bathroom was huge and had a jacuzzi shower.
The restaurant has a cosy and native atmosphere, the food is rather good, and the price is ok.
The staff is helpfull.
It's located in the centre of Granada, 5 min from Albazin and 15 min from Allambra.
Parking places are tough and expensive all over that area.
The bazars, restaurants and bars are all around.
I'd go back.

“Great hotel - terrific location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 June 2010

This is a very good hotel in a terrific location - in the old town, within walking distance to most things. Friendly staff and very helpful. Room was sizeable, with a balcony looking over the street, modern, clean, quite and comfortable. Breakfast was disappointing, but a minor point. Plenty of bars and resturants in the immediate neighbourhood. We were very satisfied with our choice.

“Better for Nightlife seekers?”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2010

The location of this hotel is great - very convenient to restaurants, shopping, sightseeing, taxis, buses, etc. However, your stay in this hotel will probably depend on what room you get. Unfortunately, we stayed on a Friday and Saturday night and had a room facing the street. We got almost no sleep, as people seemed to love shouting and singing in the streets until the early morning hours. The windows do keep out some noise (I tried opening them during what I thought was a quiet time, only to discover that it was still noisy outside) but they do need better soundproofing somehow. The beds were extremely comfortable - memory foam! But the shower in our room was too small to turn around in and we ran out of hot water quickly. Very small and cramped but the decor was nice. Breakfast was very simple, cereal and breads. Also, the room we were in was in a weird little hallway with another door that closed and we didn't notice this until we tried to leave and found ourselves in a dark box (the lights don't stay on)! Kind of funny now, but a little disorienting at first. Overall, mixed feelings about this one. You can see that they've made an effort to make it nice, but the noise and other drawbacks are just too much. Guess I wouldn't go back but it might be great for a younger group into the nightlife.

“Frustrating”

I chose this hotel because in the internet I found a lot of good opinions. But, when I arrived there nothing was like I expected. I asked for a bedroom with exterior window. When I arrived there they give me a dark, small room, bad smelling, which a window for the breakfest area. In the night I cound´t sleep because the music of the nightclub, situated near the hotel, seemed to be in our room. Finally, there was a pair of used shoes in our room. Bad experience. It´s too expensive, for this price you can find better things.

“Great value for money, excellent location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 October 2009

Travelled to Granada for a three day stay in October 2009, fell in the love with the place.

Glad we weren't driving as many of the streets are very narrow and it would have been quite hard to find the hotel whilst driving. As it is, very easy to get from Plaza Nueva down Calle Elvira to the hotel.

Overall, a very pleasant hotel and great, friendly staff. The rooms are of a decent size and we had a room overlooking the central courtyard. Unlike some reviewers, we were never disturbed by noise from either the street or from the kitchen. Showers are also a marvel - almost worth staying at this hotel just for that!

As with others, we found the breakfast to be a bit bland so we headed out after the first day to get breakfast in nearby cafes.

If we go back to Granada, most likely we would stay here again.
