Having stayed here and seen what the staff have to put up with very long hours and no pay they haven't paid on time for over 18 months but they charge enough staff have gone 2 months with no pay absolutely disguting. they work 17 hours sometimes loose their holiday and have to take when told not when they want it

There are real five star hotels and there are ones that claim they and they are not. Nazaries in Granada is one of the latter category. The personnel is a joke. the rooms are a joke, the location is a joke, and their so-called spa which at this point I suspect to be imaginary - since all I heard was "It is closed Madam" - is a joke too. The reception staff are extremely unexperienced, stressed, and indiferrent to customers' needs. This hotel, with its staff and policies, cimply does not adhere to simple customer satisfaction basis, let alone 5 star standards. You ask to talk to a manager, you don't see one. You ask to change you room since you aksed for a non smoking one and the one they gave you just stinks of cigarettes and you get it 2 days later. Nobody at the receptoin, including the so-called speaks english... To sum it up, it's a No-Go!

General: Atmosphere was not very friendly. Staff are polite but cold. The upkeep of the hotel is NOT of 5 star standard, decor was shabby with lights hanging off the wall and fixtures put up slanted.
Room: small, dull in appearance but clean.
Restaurant. The morning service wasnt that good. We walked in the first day and a waitress was in the restaurant when we tried to talk to her she just responded with a gesture to sit down no pleasentries at all, just a grumpy face. it was apparent she didnt understand any English at all. Breakfast - ok selection. I ordered an omlette and was given scrambled eggs. when I mentioned this to the waiter he took the plate back but came back several minutes later with the scrambled eggs shaped into an omlette fried off. was not impressed.
Location is not 10 mins but a 20min walk to the main sites! hotel is situated next to a small shopping centre. didnt like location much.

For a 5 star establishment, this hotel did not meet the customer service expectations:
- no one to help us with our bags into the hotel or up to the room
- reception staff were not very helpful when we wanted to hire a car, they just told us to book online
The location of this hotel is at least 10-15 minutes walk into the heart of the city as it's located in the southern end. The breakfast options are plentiful though, and rooms are spacious. The bathroom is spacious, but the shower screen isnt wide enough so the floor gets wet. In addition, the shower is too fancy that you wouldnt use all the additional spray functions. The air conditioning cannot be adjusted on a room by room basis, which was very strange for such a hotel - a small note says you need to contain reception! There are 2 free PCs with internet in the very sparce business centre. The fitness centre is quite bare, and contained very few exercise machines, usually broken.
This hotel is probably more suited to business travellers, rather than leisure travellers.
