“Stay away”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 June 2010

The hotel says they are recently remodeled. Not true.
The AC is weak, practically worthless
We were yelled at in front of other guests for eating breakfast (a roll) since it wasnt included in our rate
There is no bar and there is no restaurant despite what their site tells you.
The beds are aweful.
The elevator does not go to any floor, it goes between floors. Expect to schlep a lot of bags.
No soap.
I was given one towel.
I have more complaints but have forgotten them

“Absolutely terrible!!!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 October 2008

The hotel is in a tiny alley way that is near impossible to find, The staff arent very aproachable and do not carry out requests as simple as a wake up call and their escuse will be 'oh sorry i slept in'!! it happened twice in a row. for breakfast u have a choice of corn flakes or a quasont...... thats it. Lunch and dinner however u dont even get a choice! u get a meal normally consisting of spam and some chips sogging with grease and carrots that feel like mashed potato. You are not allowed to take your key away for the hotel so you hand it in to reception and when you come back you can get the key to ANYONES room and we had some people walk right through our room and they could have taken anything. The beds arwe about 2cm thick and u can touch the bottom of the bed by pushing your finger in to the mattress, Theres not going to be any good nights sleep at this hotel and The bin men come raging round the hotel at 3 oclock.
Worst hotel i have ever stayed in!! please dont waste your money at this hotel, you would be better of with a box

“Do not bother! beware!”

After walking through a grafitti and trashed tunnel off of the main drag, you will come across the Hotel Casablanca. With one star, here are the benefits:
The hotel employees will give you the keys to anyone's room (i.e. your belongings are not safe)
Toilets that don't flush
Leaking windows
and random suprises (i.e. strangers in your room!)

Sleep in the bus station instead.

Have a lovely stay!

“Worn out Casablanca Hotel”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 July 2006
2
people found this review helpful

This July we stayed at the Casablanca Hotel in Granada, Spain to see the Elhambra Palace (a must-see). While we are comfortable with basic & inexpensive hotels that offer location and a clean, safe place to stay, the Casablanca falls below these standards. The hotel is worn out. There's little to no service (we had requested a towel and never received it). The beds were soft, the fabrics old and worn. Even the included breakfast was a disappointment. This is one to miss.

“be warned”

A grim hotel. Where do I start? I would have changed hotels if I hadn´t have pre-paid....
A very surly manager, very cold and very noisy..
Full of school parties on holidays. More like a student hostal than a hotel, not at all relaxing. Oh yeah, the room walls are the colour of rotting tapas...
