We stayed here for two nights in chilly December and our first impression was that it was nice and warm! There were seating areas in reception and free use of a computer and Wi Fi. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
The car parking spaces were very tight, and I had to have about three tries to manoeuvre our car into a space so tight that there was about four inches between ours and the next car and I had to be at an angle to be able to avoid a pillar and open the driver's door. This minute space cost 17 euros per night.
The room was typical of a two-star hotel, adequate but nothing special. The bedding and the room in general smelt of smoke (we weren't asked whether we wanted a smoking or a non-smoking room as we were in other hotels). Interestingly, the heating did not come on in the morning, although it was warm later when we came in.
Breakfast was included but was limited, consisting of machine tea and coffee, fruit juice, a couple of types of cereals, 'long life' croissants and buns (like polystyrene), and fresh bread rolls and packets of butter and oversweet jam. No fruit.
This hotel is very central, very close to shops and restaurants, and within walking distance of the Alhambra (just over a kilometer - uphill) and the buses going to it. I can't fault the reception staff, but I think I'd rather pay a bit more for a nicer (sweeter-smelling) room and a better breakfast.
Room Tip: Ask for a non-smoking room if you are not a smoker yourself.
