Very clean room with fine bathroom and perfect quilt, not very big but who stays the whole day in a hostelroom! It´s within walking distance from the historic center of the city and the train and bus station. The service is good, very friendly and no question is too weird. The Information you get about the city or the Sierra Nevada is even better that the tourist information in town! Perfect place to explore the beuatifful city.

This hostal is, in the best of definitions, a "you get what you pay for" place to hang your hat. In this case for a very reasonable price you get a very nice, clean, practical room AND very warm, professional, attentive service. We could not have been happier with the accomodations. They were simple, comfortable, practical. Additionally the air conditioning and the wi-fi worked well, something we had problems with in other hotels along our journey.

Two things the hostal is not. One, it's architecture is not in the tradition of an old, quaint Spanish hotel or guest house in the Moorish or Jewish section of town. Second, the little square that it is set in, though quiet and close to everything, is a tad worn. But the location more than makes up for this fault as it is an easy walk to the train station and within walking distance to most of the principal sites in the city.

Of special note, though, were the proprietors. The hostal is run by a young, multilingual Dutch couple who made it their job to accomodate any request that we made. I highly recommend this hostal.

A couple friends and I decided to go bouncing around Spain. We happened to stop in Granada and found Hostal Nuevas Naciones online prior to coming to Granada. This hostal is unlike any other I've ever been to. It feels like a home away from home. The owners were so nice and helpful with everything. The rooms were extremely cozy. Hostel itself lies the most terrific of locations, close to city centre.

This place is a must stay.

The location is also ideal, very near citycentre and not far from the busstation and airport, and easy to find if you are traveling by car. This hostel wil be my homebase for Granada!
