We stayed 8 nights at the Palacio de los Patos (Deluxe Room, main building). The room was located on the ground floor, which is a bit odd, but bearable for a very spacious en suite room. Marble bathroom with separate shower and bathtub. The decoration style is boutique/modern, and it is worth saying that the room was exactly as expected from the hotel website. Temperature control and air conditioning were fully functional which is essential in Granada at that time of the year. The hotel has wireless throughout including in its garden which is a nice alternative location to relax in the shade during the hottest hours of the day (cocktails served there during the evening). Breakfast, also served in the garden, was excellent. The hotel is missing and outdoor pool, since the spa is located in the hotel's basement. Service was friendly and excellent throughout the stay.
The only real issue, noted by other reviews, is that the rooms can be noisy in the evening or at night, and that includes both traffic and the occasional revellers from nearby streets.

The staff were great and could find no fault with them at all, the hotel is in a prime position and a short walk to the city centre, the deluxe room had a strange layout with frosted glass partitions separating the wet room/toilet and bedroom. The only liquid refreshment in the room was the minibar (charged) or the tap, this was a double room so why only one chair? now onto the restaurant, good food on the three nights we were there but the same menu every night, three fish dishes and three meat dishes (mains) in a five star, breakfast was good and presented well. Car parking is under the hotel with a lift into the hotel, but you have to pay 23 euros a night as a guest, the noise through the night from the streets outside is loud and this is in a double glazed room and when I say through the night it means till the sun comes up, if we ever go back to Granada it would be to another hotel. We stayed 4 nights at the hotel in a very beautiful Deluxe Category Room where a modern design meets historical charme.
The hotel is directly in the heart of the city, perfect for shopping and even the Alhambra is accessable by a nice walk trough the city up into 25 minutes by foot.
The first night we ate outside in the city.All the others directly in the hotel's restaurant. We loved it!!!
The very friendly service mostly spoke english and german. Because of some english problems the chef cooker Javito came out to our table. Because I am half french and he also worked in some french & belgium Fine Dining Restaurants before, he could easily explain us his cooking style and dishes. Listening to his explanations and ideas we recognized that he cooks with passion, a modern andalusian fusion cuisine. So good that we came again all the other nights. Very good! See the pictures I made. The restaurant has a nice interiour and the breakfast taken on the beautiful terrasse is also very good. As it is located in the center it is a little loudy and busy around the hotel. But the charme and interiour, the staff friendliness and (sometimes live) music with this nice terrasse easily lets u forget it.
We also tried an ayurvedic massage in the SPA where Martha did a great job!
We are looking forward to a next stay and hope that nothing will change in this amazing hotel.

One staff member at front desk is absolutely professional and lovely to deal with. The rest, while pleasant enough were rather aloof. The room we are in (yes, we are still here for one more night) is cold and uninviting. There is nowhere to put our luggage. It's basically one room with frosted glass walls separating the toilet area and the shower area. The shower is next to the tub with nothing surrounding it, so after showering you can't step back into the room without getting your feet wet again. The tub is a marble slap that looks lovely but because of it's design you can't lie in it comfortably. As I'm writing this I can hear someone's tv AND their telephone ringing. We came from the Hospes Palacio del Bailio in Cordoba which was Sublime!!!! This is such a disappointment in comparison. We definitely (my husband and I) wouldn't recommend staying here.
