Review: Hotel Los Galanes
Considering this was a 2* hotel we were very happy. The staff were mostly very helpful, almost all of them spoke English or we could get by with our very bad Spanish and a phrase book!
The room was a little drab, colour scheme was dated but it was cleaned every day, fresh towels and a made bed every day was great.
Air conditioning was working fine, a little too cold if anything!
Hot water was always available in the taps.
Remote control for the TV was missing, but since they were all Spanish channels we didn't watch much TV.
The restaurant was good quality, service a little but slow (unusual for Spanish waiters) but the food made up for it. A bit expensive though.
Breakfast was fast and friendly prepared, if only one choice: toasted bread with coffee or orange juice.
You need a car since the hotel is just outside Granada on junction 131 of the highway.
McDonalds is 10 minutes walk away, but the city is 15 minutes drive.
Internet and wifi both available which was handy.
Overall, very good value for money.
By the way, the address is very confusing. Here is the location:
