I stayed in the Don Juan for 1 night, during a trip through Andalusie in october. The hotel is situated in area where a lot of students lives, so there can be noise of loud speaking people on the terraces in the street during the night, it is Spain. So ask for a room which is not on the streetside. Nice room not very large, but everything you need was present. Our room was quiet.
They had a nice dinner for a very good price, when you are to tired to go back into the town.
The cathedral is about 15 min. walk from the hotel.

“Pleasant stay”

I must be one of the old people written about in the previous post (just retired). The rooms on the front are noisy (we had 414) especially on Thursday nights when it seems all the students in Granada go out and get drunk and then roam the streets making maximum noise. However the very helpful man on the desk quickly agreed to move us to 503, which was really quiet. All other aspects of the hotel were fine. There is a huge amount of graffiti in the area, but then sadly we found that was the case everywhere we traveled in Spain this time.

This Hotel was in a very poor area, went out for a walk after our meal and came straight back in, did not feel safe at all. Bedroom was OK for one night could not stay for a week that is for sure.

Cab driver reccomended this hotel. It seemed decent at first glance. The room was tiny for 80$. We were treated like scum by the staff.

Not at all a place for young people, lots of old people stay here and it's a very loud busy hotel, walls made of paper and a good night sleep is a dream.
