Honestly I travelled from Portugal to France for a whole month and slept in many hotels and hostels. Now when I found this, what I assumed was a hostel, on a website I was happy with the price and booked it right away. To my amazement this is a small hotel with excellent service. The price for the month of July was ridiculously cheap and for that reason I worried about what we would find once there. Instead I arrived at a well decorated hotel with a staff ready to please. We were three in one room and it was greatly spaced. We each had a single bed in a clean and nicely decorated room with a great shower. I guess when it’s scorching hot all you want to do is take a great shower and this hotel had it. For the price of a hostel we had a great clean room and a new modern multiple jet shower. The staff was very helpful as is having free computer access in the lobby. The only issue might be the location. When I first arrived to the street the hotel is located on I realized that I and my luggage needed to make our way up a small hill where the hotel is situated. But once you make your way out of the hotel to sight see you can see that it is very near to the main boulevard where you will find shopping and many restaurants. You can walk through little streets and find so many interesting restaurants and shops which all lead to the main street. The people in Granada and this hotel were all very helpful and willing to help. The only thing I would say is not regarding the hotel but Granada itself. Make sure to know where you are going bus wise because bus drivers do not speak English nor care to help you out. And lastly, there are many gypsies in this area so beware of your belongings and people trying to read your palms for money. Aside from that enjoy the Arabic influences you will see in cafes and street markets. And although it might not be said often, do try ice cream in Granada…very tasty!
