We stayed 3 nights in July with an organized concert tour. We had a spacious room and enjoyed the breakfast buffet, liked the WiFi throughout the hotel and, best of all, the central location with easy access to shops and excellent bars and restaurants. Everything else about the hotel - the decoration, furniture, sound insulation, lighting, TV in the room, bathroom, public toilets, lifts, etc. - has not seen any investment for at least 20 - 30 years ( the 12-inch TV set from the early 1980's has no remote control!) . The buffet dinner which was included for us was very poor consisting mainly of leftovers and tinned food, so try to avoid paying for half-board, as restaurant food is generally excellent in Granada.

The staff were helpful and patient considering how many complaints they were receiving from shocked guests who had expected the standard of their rooms to be somewhere close to 4-star. We won't choose to stay here again if San Anton of Granada allows its decline and decay to continue. It would be such a pity as its location is superb.

Worst hotel we have stayed in the last several years. Nothing worked. Free internet was free alright - it didn't work in the room. Fridge was not working whole time, in spite of several requests to fix it. No luggage stand? Suggest they buy some (~10 euros). Only one elevator was working, the digit displays showing the floors were bizarre. Stepped on poorly placed doorstop in bathroom - didn't scream - already too agitated. We cannot comment on the food as we were told by random people in the elevator that it was horrible. Service at the desk was spectacularly unhelpful. The credit card we used to try to reluctantly pay for this awful place did not work either - kept giving cannot connect errors. They will find some way to charge us, we are sure!

The reception area is large with a small desk! Staff were very friendly and very very helpful. Went downhill fast from there though. Our room, though a decent size was not very clean and in desperate need of a complete modernisation. Large bed was comfortable. The bathroom was tacky. Also you could hear all the showers in the rooms near, above and below. Fridge didn't appear to have a cable attached! Small wardrobe and few drawers which were very difficult to open. Tried breakfast on the 1st morning. Not much choice and even though we were there at 9am most had gone and wasn't replaced! At 9€ per person we give it a miss after that. Staff here were not very friendly and no one smiled. The so called swimming pool is about the size of a hot tub!! I've stayed in better 2 star hotels

We have decided to choose this hotel for the great location in the centre of Grenada, but the hotel itself need to be fully refurbished. The rooms are old, bathroom with parts dirty and pieces missing. Towels are old with holes. The room we had was a suite with separate bedroom for children, the rain came through the windows and the bed was noisy every time you move.
Good thing: location, car park close by,staff ok, breakfast ok.
