My husband and I stayed here for three nights. We are in our mid thirties and don't have a big budget when holidaying, so we needed something affordable but suitable. The Aben Humeya was pretty basic, with certainly outdated decor, however it was in a great location - just a short walk from the remaining gates of the old Moorish wall. The rooms had comfy beds, a tv and a decent bathroom. We were facing the street and this did get its fair share of noise from night time revellers, but to be honest, when you're visiting Granada you'll be so full of food and wine that a heavy night's sleep is guaranteed.
The one factor I didn't like about the hotel is that any person can easily walk in from off the street and wander its halls. The reception desk is far back from the entrance, so this was something they could improve. But, the maids cleaned our room every day, towels were starched and again, the beds were (surprisingly) exceptionally comfortable. For those on a budget, you'd be hard pressed to do better. Plus, you'll only come back to the room to sleep, so why book something extravagent?
