I stayed at the NH Hotel Inglaterra in Granada, Spain, for two nights in February 2011. It was very easy to find, only one block off Gran Via and very close to all the tourist sites and shopping. I had reserved online for a single room but was given a double when I arrived (as they were out of single rooms). (The online reservation system let me reserve a room without credit card as long as I arrived by 6 pm!) There is an elevator up to the third floor (where I was), which was nice, but I used the stairs most of the time. First impression of the room: standard American room, fairly large, nice closet, great TV (lots of channels, including several in English), mini-balconies, thermostat (AC/heat), minibar/fridge, ensuite bathroom with an enclosed shower, and the best bathroom amenities I have seen anywhere in the world: sponge, shampoo, toothbrush (with toothpaste), showercap, and orange-smelling glycerin soap. The friendly front desk staff spoke English and helped me connect my netbook for the free 30 minutes of lobby-only Wifi included with the price. The bed was very comfortable. The biggest negative (and it was a big one) was the smell of the room. It smelled strongly of cleaner/perfume. Luckily the room had two balcony/windows which I could open to try to air the room out. The first night, though, was cool, so I had to close the windows, and the smell was almost too much for me. (The second night, I was able to air the room out more.) The room was also not quiet, but closing the windows helped a lot.
