These apartments are not up to code, as far as Canadian standards go. To lock the apartment door from the inside you need a key which would be deadly in a fire situation as you would burn to death trying to find the key.
Also, to leave the main compound you need a key and they gave us the wrong one. We were stuck in the compound for the better part of an evening.
The nearby flamenco bar and the other guests kept us awake until 2 am and the pool was broken, having leaked into the apartments as well.
Taxis might have a hard time finding this place so tell them you want to go to the nearby flamenco bar, I think it is called the tanta.
This place is a 2 km hike from the alhambra albeit a nice one. Watch out for gypsies on the plaza nueva as they WILL try to steal your wallet or your bag. Do not give them money when they beg.
