A friend and I stayed at the Santa Ana apartments on Calle San Juan Des Los Reyes (they have two locations - the other a couple of streets away). Our two bed studio was lovely with two single beds, bathroom, sofa, dining table and kitchenette. As the owners describe on their website, the apartments themselves don't have views, but the roof terrace is amazing with stunning views of the Alhambra, which is only 15 minutes walk away. We had breakfast on the terrace from the nearby Panaderia in the mornings. The Cathedral and shopping areas are close by also. I also recommend a trip to the Arab Baths five minutes away, bathing and a massage is about €38.
The only downside to the apartment was the noise at night. Our studio faced the street which meant we could hear people walking and driving by. Don't let this detract you from staying there though - just ask for a room off the street if possible. I would definitely stay again.

We booked a two bedroom apartment for six for two nights. On arrival we were shown the apartment and amenities, including the fantastic rooftop area with spectacular Allhambra views. The apartment manager is not permanently onsite, but is available by phone, and has great english. After checkin he offered us a bedroom in the apartment opposite to use if we needed it, rather than the sofa bed, because it was a little crowded with four adults and two children. This generous gesture was unprecedented in our experience, and made our stay really comfortable. The apartments were beautifully set up and in a prime location - centrally located in the meandering ancient network of small streets and walkways that forms the old part of the city, a few minutes walk from Plaza Nuevo with bars, shops and cafes. You can walk to the Allhambra in fifteen minutes. Beds were comfortable, kitchens were well appointed, the apartments were clean and everything worked. We could have been comfortable in these apartments for a lot longer, and Granada deserves a lot more than two days.

We stayed for 2 nights -the staff we so friendly and obliging. the apartments are situated in a fantastic location-all that you need within walking distance. the rooms were furnished with taste, clean, well maintained and fully equipped. What more could you ask in this price range? We will return!

We stayed a week at the Santa Ana Apartments. It was extremely quiet, had a great atmosphere with small cafe tables at the small plaza in front of the building. A hammam as neighbour and a 2 min-walk to a larger plaza with all kinds of cafes and shopping. The service from the reception was extremely kind at our (very delayed) arrival. The rooms were nicely furnished and clean and even had a washing machine. The only - but very tiny complaints: not enough dish cloths and kitchen towels, maid totally unable to speak English, only Spanish television channels, too small collection of kitchen utencils and kitchen ware, not enough clothes hangers. But in general: we totally recommend staying at this place!!!
