This truely is a hidden gem with the best views of the city. The rooms are clean, super comfortable and decorated with Morrocan influence. The views at night of the Alhambra from our room were amazing. Antonio was a great host and so helpful with whatever we needed. This place has got real charm and character. As it's so hidden there is no place to park nearby, but you can leave your car in a 24hr carpark and Antonio arranges a taxi to pick you up. We had a great trip here...hope to return x

Antonio runs a gorgeous B&B in Granada. We booked at short notice and as we have discovered in Spain, the hospitality and warmth was immediately evident. I stayed there with my husband and two children aged 15 and 11. My daughter loved the Moroccan themed rooms!The guest accommodation is sumptuous and it is in a very convenient , yet peaceful location. Breakfast was delicious and we also loved the balconies with the beautiful views across to La Alhambra. Antonio was also very helpful in assisting us with getting a taxi to take us down the coast to La Herradura. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Solar Montes Claros and I would love to return, although it is a bit far from Australia!

This is such a beautiful B&B! We stayed in the Persia room for two nights and loved it! The room is gorgeous and very romantic and the views.....what can I say other than breathtaking! We had such a great view of the Alhambra and at night when it's all lit up, there's nothing else like it! Antonio is amazing and really cares about his guests. He made some great restaurant recommendations for us and was always incredibly helpful with all our questions. I'd recommend taking the bus to the Alhambra and not walking it like we did, unless you are in very good shape. The Albayzin is built on a hill and the walk in and out of the city centre is pretty steep, as was the walk up to the Alhambra. After walking it that first time, we took buses to get back to the B&B for the remainder of our time in Granada. I'd also recommending packing much lighter than we did....we definitely overpacked for our two week trip throughout Spain and carting our luggage up and down the stairs to the B&B was not fun. The breakfasts provided were great and a good start to our busy days! Antonio also kept our luggage for us on the day we checked out because our train to Barcelona didn't leave Granada until 9pm. The Wifi in the room was also really fast.

This is a beautiful B&B and we really enjoyed every minute of our stay here! A very different experience compared to the hotels we stayed at throughout the rest of our trip.

We have spent three nights in Solar Montes Claros and it could not have been better: Fabulous host, great breakfast, best advices and an all around great care.

Together with our 2.5 year old daughter we have enjoyed Granada. Antonio was an unassuming, courteous and very solicitous host, who was there whenever we needed something.
