Just returned from 3 night break in the hotel cabello,a perfect little hotel in a perfect location. Staff very pleasant,rooms small but spotless clean. Breakfast was just toasted bread roll with jams,and lovely coffee but just enough. Will definatly be returning again next year.

We have just returned from 10 days stay in hotel Cabello, had wonderful time, rooms basic no hairdryer but plenty of storage, spotless clean towels every day, has room on corridor with line nd pegs for drying swimsuits etc, airconditioning very effective, ask room on front u can hear the sea! Highly recommend tis hotel also beach ^La Coquina^ turn left at seafront 3mins, 2 beds umbrella nd table 8euro nd the most friendly nd pleasant guy ^Roberto^ you could wish 2 meet.

Came back last night (10 October 2011) after a super holiday. Booked this hotel after reading 'Tripadvisor' reviews but only stayed a week due to a certain amount of apprehension because of an official 1 star rating. I admit that the rooms are fairly basic and perhaps not what you would expect in a 'Thomson' 3 or 4 star Costa Hotel but the hotel and rooms were spotless, towels changed every day, aircon in the rooms and a lovely Spanish feel of being somewhere different. Weather was unbelievably hot for October with hardly a cloud in the sky and at the prices paid for this hotel I wish I had booked for two weeks, which I will probably do next year.

we checked in on 29.9.11 for 4 nites the staff were so welcomin from reception staff 2 the house staff. the room was basic but it only cost us £108 for 4 nites 2 adults n one child and it did include a luvly breakfast of coffee n hot toasted roll wiv butter n jam. the beds were changed daily n the room was spotless. the only gripe we have is the nite bar staff/owner who is spanish/american. he really is quite sarcastic makin jibes at the street entertainers who really at the end of the day entertain his punters. i had paid at bar 4 a drink on fri nite at the bar n we had money sittin on the table n he walked past r table n lifted money of r table claimin we hadnt paid for r drink (which we had) he didnt even ask for money just took it. then we ordered another pint of beer and he sed u only jus got a pint a half an hour ago!!!! so he obviously is aware of wat u drink n not wat u pay for. juans tapas bar is jus aroun the corner n is buzzin every drink u buy u get a free tapas meal n the food is gorge. we have stayed in carihuela loads of times at the park palace complex we will def go back to this complex as u hav a balcony. incidently we asked for seaview n got a side view of what looked like a storage yard
