We stayed at this Hotel for a week in March. Although the weather was quite cold in the evenings, the lobby, bars and landings were quite warm enough. The room had air conditioning and was very comfortable and a good size. Entertainment was first class and the staff at all levels were very helpful and polite. The buffet breakfast catered for all nationalities, so we Brits could have our English breakfast with very good bacon. Very important. Also the evening meal buffet was great whatever nationality, and the chioce of sweets was out of this world. If you ordered a taxi at reception it was there as soon as you stepped outside. We were never overcharged either. When you left the Hotel from the rear the shops were ten feet away, and that beautiful promonade and beach thirty feet.
As I said at the top, 'Viva La Lago Rojo' we were more than satisfied.

“Good Hotel -a long walk from the main Torremolinos Centre”

Having just spent three days in Lago Rojo,at the End of March 2004. Rather than hire a car -We decided to take the train from Malaga Airport to Torremolinos (one euro) and take the "ten minute walk". A big mistake - it is a long way from the town centre station, - the 5 Euro Taxi from the station is the answer First Impression was looking out the Balcony Window towards the sea (over the houses) and seeing the Big Red Crane - Maybe thats why it is on Special offer at the moment . Food was Buffet style and varied, plentiful and hot . Bathroom seemed a bit dull but main room very pleasant and very clean Staff very helpful, Very little/no entertainment the days we were there Many different Nationalities mainly 50 plus Location is half way between BENALM?DENA and Torremolinos town centre, in La Carihuela Where there are lots of places to eat , very close to the beach BENALM?DENA is wonderful at night well worth the walk along the sea front walkway.
