Rooms are tiny and incredibly dated, no aircon which is unbearable, we had to rent a portable aircon from an external company as three fans kindly rented out by the hotel at a price of €5 per night didn't do much. Good view and access to the beach but also €12 cab drive to the centre of Torremolinos. Found really big spiders in the room but it was ok as the next day I walked on few lizards which surely sorted the spiders very quickly..

We had a 1 bedroom appt which was great and excellent value for money. Basic but clean and had everything you needed. Right on the beach front with loads of good bars and restuarants. Only 5 mins walk from Benalmadina marina, or about 45 mins walk to Torremolinos centre. Taxi from airport is about 15-20 euros and only takes about 15 mins. Pool area was nice, and pool was warm, however you did need to pay for sun beds - 4 euros each a day. Studio appt looked very small, and some only have twin beds that cannot be pushed together as it would block the entrance, so if you are a couple make sure you ask for a double room.

I had an amazing holiday, lovely place, apartment, weather location etc... I went with my mother and we both really enjoyed ourselves.
The only down-side and to make people aware who may be going to the Sol Timor, I had some money taken from our apartment by someone who had a key and who had taken the money when we were out. Be very careful when leaving money in the apartment, my advice would be to take all money with you at all times and DO NOT allow any staff in to your apartment (display the sleep sign). Other than that....we had a brilliant time.

Athough the address says Torremolinos they are actually just along the coast in a place called Carrifuela. Plenty of bars, restaurants, shops and the beaches are clean, tidy and a pleasure to use. The Apartments are; clean,quite basic with a small kitchenette area, but if all you need is a base for your holiday they are perfect. Bathroom was quite big and the shower was great, plenty of hot water. I was visiting friends and stayed here alone and felt completly safe. I had a great room that overlooked the sea and the harbour of Benalmadena. Air con worked a treat and I didn't have to pay extra for the pleasure. Huge pool, you have to pay €2.50 per day for a sun lounger but that's fine with me. Staff really friendly, speak amazing English and would definately recommend for any kind of holiday; family, stag/hen do's and couples . Really close to the beach too! Really great value for money. I booked directly via the hotel website and got the best rates.
