As I understand it, this hotel is a value option in the area. To its credit, the pool is very nice. Unfortunately, my experience with the rest of the hotel was appalling. The front and sliding glass doors to our room were easy to open even while locked. On one night, my companions and I were the last to leave the dining room after it closed (bland, unappetizing food). After 1 hour I realized I left my purse in the dining room and when I returned to retrieve it, the purse was gone! The hotel staff was completely unhelpful. The overworked dining room staff would refer me to the front desk and the front desk treated me as if that I was overtaxing them with my concern. Phone, camera, drivers license, credit cards and a small amount of cash were completely gone. I checked for 2 days to see if someone would return it. The only people who have access to the dining room are staff and hotel guests. I spoke Spanish and tried to be as pleasant as possible, but the staff is overworked, completely unsympathetic and commonly rude. I would not trust anything valuable in any part of the hotel.
