“Just a quick stay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 January 2012

We've just returned from a one night stay in this hotel. Four of us rented the penthouse for 160 Euros. Great little hotel in an ideal location however if there attention to detail in the apartment had of been to a higher standard then this would have been a very good, not an average - Lots of small frustrating details that make your stay hassle free.

“overrated”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 September 2011

Positive: very friendly staff, clean, nicely decorated rooms, some even with their own little garden terrace. Roof top terrace. Great location.
BUT:
1. Terrible breakfast.
2. Only stay here if you don't care about noise. We woke up at 7:30am on a Sunday morning(!) by a loud TV blurring from somewhere in the neighbourhood. Be aware that you will hear everything through the walls: slammed doors, toilets, showers, talking people.
You will get better value for money in other hotels with more stars, same price, same season.

“Very nicely located clean hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 June 2011

We loved this hotel.
It has character, it's situated in the old center (close to the beach side edge) and it's very good value for money. It's clean and it has everything you need at a more than basic level.

The staff is very nice and helpful, they speak decent English but most of them speak native Russian.

The pedestrian street where it's situated is very authentic and filled with hostels.

Room Tip: The street level rooms have private terraces

“A pretty boutique hotel in old town marbella”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 June 2011

This is an excellent hotel, it's rated as a 2* but really feels alot better than that! The bedrooms are gorgeous, the staff are very helpful and friendly! The breakfast is enough to fill the tummy to lunch time. free wifi available! Roof top terrace for sunning yourself!
A short walk away you will find the pretty old towns cobbled streets filled with little boutiques restaurants and quaint bars.
To puerto banus you can get a nearby bus €1.20 or taxi €12.

“Small and Friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 June 2011

This hotel is on a pedestrian street that runs off a main road. We drove straight to it with our mapquest directions but nowhere to stop to drop-off suitcases before parking in a nearby garage (around 20 euros per 24 hour). Fortunately, garage just around corner so didn't have to drag suitcases far. Street parking next to impossible.

Hotel on lovely little street lined with potted plants. Most of the staff spoke English and were friendly and helpful. Nice, sizeable room with sliding glass doors onto narrow balcony. Bathroom okay but no surface to put anything and shower curtain too short so floor got wet. Had hairdryer. Decent breakfast included and served in small reception area: OJ, cereal, toast, cheese slices, sliced sausage, and pastries. No other meals served and no actual bar but you could get a beer (1 euro) to take to room or up to roof terrace. Nice roof terrace with views to old town and mountains. Believe there were also small apartments available on the ground floor with patio.

Perfect location. Close to the lovely old town, beach promenade, small park, and plaza with Dali sculptures. Tons of restaurants/bars all around.

This hotel may not have full amenities but charming all the same and would stay here again.
