We stayed at the Jardines after a lengthy search for our first holiday with our 9 month old baby.

We were very specific about what we wanted - microwave, kiddies pool, separate kitchen / bedroom set-up and close to beach and not far from airport.

Jardines ticks all of these boxes and we cannot complain about the facilites, but to be honest, these apartments were very basic (did not include a kettle!!) and despite what the previous reviewer wrote, we would not describe these as spotlessley clean. Adequately clean yes.

Perhaps we are being a little bit harsh, given that this is a 3*, but we have stayed in cleaner and more modern 3* apartments in Spain, so are comparing to those. The apartment we stayed in was in desperate need of a new coat of paint and was permanently dark and clearly the electrics were dodgy (fuse kept blowing)

The gardens were nice, but overrated. What you see on the picture is it! The pool was excellent, but probably gets crowded in peak season.

The breakfast was very basic, but suited me.

The reception staff were very nice people, but fairly ineffective. They could not help with most queries (eg confirming car hire, or even when I asked if they could print out a confirmation email for me, the receptionist said "I don't know how")

I was not disappointed in terms of what we got, but this place needs to modernise and get an injection of energy!!

We ( a party of 2 adults and 2 babies) stayed at the J del mar for a week. It was located outside Marbella along the golden mile very close to the Palacio De Congressios and El Corte Ingles, beach and bus to Puerto Banus. The beach was 200 m around the corner and was very quiet.
The areai t self is very quiet and the accommodation is part residential and part tourist. It was very quiet which is what we wanted. The apartments themselves were very well equipped for us with a young family and were spotlessly clean. They were airy and bright.
The pool and public areas were also very well maintained. This is because the management are extremely fussy and maintenance fees are paid by all the people who live there. There is also a life guard. The gardens are lovely with a little bridge and some ponds with fish. Sunbeds are 3E per day.
As it was off season the bar was only opened part of the day, but it was very reasonable. There was alot of building work going on in one wing of the place but we didn't hear a thing.
Another wonderful thing about this place is the staff, they are very nice and will help you with anything you need.

Found a spacious studio apartment in one of Marbella's most beautiful residential neighborhoods all within walking distance to the beach and promenade, restaurants and supermarket.

Even though breakfast was included, we had our own kitchen to make breakfast, lunch or dinner in if we decided to do so. The pools and gardens were peaceful and beautiful and are enhanced by the sounds of a waterfall and gold fish pond.

The only recommendation I would make regarding the room is to brighten it up a bit with more colorful curtains, a better couch, and more comfortable beds.

In spite of these minor recommendations, I would tell my friends to stay at the Apartamentas Jardines del Mar in Marbella if they are looking for spacious accommodations at a reasonable price.
