We have just returned from a four day break in Marbella at the El Rodeo Hotel. This is the worst hotel we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. We had booked full board but after the first day we had no desire to continue to eat the awful food in a filthy restaurant. The pool area on the roof was akin to a building site with no pool bar open and was most unappealing. The bedroom was clean but the bed very hard and uncomfortable .The hotel description states all rooms have sea view, for those on the lower floors that is definitely not true unless the buildings in between were demolished first .The hotel is in a very central location so much that below our window we had the taxi rank , the motorbike/moped parking bays and the refuse bins which were emptied every morning at around 5am .We can’t see how others could truthfully have described this hotel anything short of terrible ,it is definitely not a 3 star hotel by any standard .Whilst it’s not expensive we have stayed in cheaper but much better accommodation than the El Rodeo , don't spoil your holiday in this lovely resort find somewhere else to stay.

excellent value for money. clean hotel and in an ideal location , within walking distance to beach, restaurants , shops , old town and public transport. the food at this hotel was not very good it was the same every day. although we never went hungry . We were half board yet we were allowed to alternate our dinner with lunch instead which we found really useful.

we found this hotel by chance as our usual one was fully booked
went to this hotel with four other friends we needed it for one night lucky enough they managed to fit us in found the room to be very comfortable and the bteakfast was really good i am aware that they do half board full board etc and what i could see of it .. it may be worth a try .. but the breakfast was spot on .. no complaints at all .. and the location is good for every thing u need in marbella

good hotel, good breakfast, it's not luxury but it's a standard 3 star and the beds are comfortable and the hotel is a good base as your right in the middle of the centre and 3min walk to the main beach front
