Verry good hotel , I was for new year vacation , it was one of my best ever , is like a piece of heaven, quiet , nice beach , perfect room , extrordinary and frendly personal .
Food was very good and fresh , and new year gala was very well organized ...my best regards for the cook .
Very close to Marbell , 15 min by bus , close to supermarket if you need somthnig (Liddle and Mercadona is 1 bus station away ) .
I will return fore sure .

In general I'm very satisfied about the hotel: welcome with champagne on arrival, pleasant friendly staff, cosy-clean and spacious bedrooms (no. 114-115 sea side), gorgeous swimming pools (4 outdoor pools), comfortable pool beds, nice veranda to lounge (outdoor heater available during the winter season), large variety and champagne for breakfast.

Can be improved: the atmosphere at the hotel bar and entertainment area, wifi in bedrooms and swimming pool area (only available at the entertainment area), ambiance and interior of the hotel restaurant.
NOTE: Mac users - hotel cannot supply network cables for Mac users

Beach club: not stunning as many described, although a terrific sea view and next to the beach, very like the "infinity" outdoor pool (unfortunately not warmed), comfortable pool beds, inside only 2 small pools and 2 jacuzzi's - unfortunately not very warm as usual spa's, 2 sauna's, fish spa and other spa threatments available. Regular entrance fee 25 euros and for hotel guests 15euro (probably low season price).
NOT DONE - no food served while you had the intention to relax and sunbathing for a whole day. Only drinks were served (dec-jan). Friendly staff, 5-8min walking distance from the hotel.

Location:
Between Marbella and Malaga city, peaceful area. Depends on your preference if you like to stay far away from the city or like to find peace and relaxatiob. Difficult to find the exit from the highway, even with navigation. 8-10min walk to the beach.
NOTE: beach bars and restaurants are closed during the winter (low) season but you can find lots of restaurants in the neighborhood. Recommend to rent a car. Public transport only reachable from the highway exits (seems dangerous to me to walk along the highway).

Great restaurants close to the hotel:
**www.elviriaresaurante.com - they have lunch specials until 16pm, a 3-course lunch and 1 free drink and 1 free coffee/tea for 20euro. I had a delicious lunch and enjoyed very much.
**Tapas bar/restaurant Borracon De Las Tapas

Spent a week on b/b here ,nice modern hotel with a Moorish look.Service at the bars a bit sketchy and not a lot near the hotel except for The Beach House and other beach bars.There are a few resraurants on the other side of the motorway to get to these you have to use the underpass .The Centro Commercial in Elveria is a good 20 minute walk at the side of the motorway cross at 2nd footbridge plenty of bars and restaurants here. As nice as the hotel is you really need to hire a car or use taxis to go anywhere around unless you like walking on badly lit roads at nightime.The rooms on the top floor overlooking pools have the best view.

This hotel was clean and beautiful with great dining options, friendly and helpful staff (who referred us to a phenomenal tour guide company, Red Label Tour, that I HIGHLY recommend and wrote a review for), and had large and luxurious rooms. Their beach club was beyond incredible with their spas and treatments, fantastic grotto with sauna, separate hydro-therapy areas within the indoor pools, beautiful outdoor infinity pool, and lovely beach. The staff at the beach club were just as friendly as the hotel's and the whole experience at the beach club and hotel was relaxing and it was a great place to unwind.

The only comment I have to make (which isn't a big enough problem to change my 5 star rating) was that I think the beach club should serve food even in the off season. They had a bar that brought our drinks right out to the pool for us which was fantastic, but especially if you're traveling with young children during the off season it would have been a bonus to be able to dine there as well instead of having to go back to the hotel.

Still a 5 star rating and I highly recommend this hotel!
