“Super stay for dog owners”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

We stayed a couple of times in Petit Palace Plaza in Malaga and last time with our small dog. And what a surprise... A dog bed was ready and a food&drink bowl. First time we had come across a service like this, excellent. The breakfast offered for 6 Euro only was a second surprise, normally hotel breakfast's are a rip off, but this was just good. It is just that eye for detail that we love. We try to do the same for our passengers who are sailing with us (www.scicsailing.eu)!

“Excellent But .....?????”

Very good hotel Excellent location in the center of the center, great friendly staff ,good breakfast buffet, very clean ,modern furniture, free wi fi internet service in all the hotel BUT some rooms are small and you will not be able to sleep if you will get room close to the back street which is so crowed and noisy day and night until 2 Am its busy and noisy so be careful dont not take room no 208 & 207 same thing for other floors,Also black water draining pipes is passing through room no 208 and when any one is using the toilette flash it will disturb you day and night,Room 503 is the best room in the hotel with the best view.

Room Tip: My Advice never accept to stay at room 208.

“Just Ok... In my opinion.”

The location was superb. Right in the heart of the shopping district, close to port, surrounded by restaurants, yet quiet.

The rooms themselves were not bad. The jetted bathtub was a big plus. The beds were hard and it seemed as if you were on a camp cot. Not so nice.

The staff were quiet friendly and spoke beautiful english.

The breakfast was ridiculously expensive and not recommended. You can easily get a better one at one of the delicatessens for much less.

Spent a night with family( 2 teenagers), hotel is practical in every regard, no frills yet an enjoyable stay. Only downside is getting parking nearby !!!!!

“Wonderful location, couldn't have been better.”

Flights on offer so decided to spend a few days in Malaga rather than just passing through on way to other parts of Spain. Stayed at a Petit Palace hotel in Madrid so that was why we chose this particular hotel. Paid 2 euros on airport express bus and thanks to a previous Trip Advisor review with directions, found hotel easily. Room good size, bathroom excellent with toiletries replenished daily and towels and bedding changed daily. Very clean. View not much, only over a narrow street facing rather dirty building across the way, but that wasn't a problem as we only used the room to shower and sleep. Free safe and lap top much appreciated. Didn't bother with breakfast because of the choice of excellent cafes, restaurants and especially tapas bars. Hotel couldn't have been more central. City easy to navigate on foot. Beautiful churches, many buildings similar to Madrid. Prices for food and drink very reasonable. Visited Picasso museum as he was born there.
Would recommend Malga for a short city break and happy to recommend this hotel, though more tourist info at reception would have been helpful.
