stayed in Malaga for 4 day break end of Jan 2012 with wife and other couple. Hotel a 5 minute stroll from Malaga Central station, checked in and given all relevant local info from very helpful staff. Room was what we expected, clean spacios for the short time, superb shower and spotless bathroom , only downside bed was tad on the hard side. Breakfast was continental but sufficent and well presented. Location was excellent , 5 minutes over bridge to city centre.
All in all a great weekend , great hotel and ideally located for City Centre , train and airport connections.

Standard Ibis, in the standard good quiet location - 5 minute walk over bridge across the seasonal river to the centre of the old town. Breakfast is cold buffet only, but with reasonable selection. Bigger than usual rooms & bathroom, but decor a little tired and creaky floor in room above with an elephant in residence! Overall great for the price though.

We stayed at this hotel from the 28/12/2011 untill the 1/1/2012.It was modern and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpfull.The breakfast was good,and every where was clean and tidy.We were however ,surprised that the hotel does not do currency exchange,so i would say change your currency before you go to avoid charges.The location of the hotel is in my opinion excellent,a short walk to the shops and the port.Our Christmas and new year break was magical,and i would certainly recommend it to any-one.

This is exactly what you’d hope for in an Ibis hotel: basic, clean, tolerably quiet and pretty well located. We needed a one-night stop-off when passing through the city, and at €49 for the room, this fitted the bill perfectly.
