Very clean environment, friendly people, very quiet although next to the airport, 10 minutes walk to the beach, beautiful swimming pool, lovely garden and coosy jacuzzi. Everything is there to enjoy a well earned holiday which obviously has to be made by one self. But this hotel can really help you in making the best of it.
The is a bus stop 200m from the hotel. Public transport brings you to the Málaga city center in about 15 to 20 minutes. You can eat in an Italian restaurant closeby or at a wine bar about 200m from the beach.
Do visit one of the Chiringuito restaurants at the beach (take the middle one) and order a grilled seebass. You will be amazed by the flavors and the quality of the dish.

“Ok for one night - basic.”

Basic and very dated with 1990s feel about it. We only stayed one night - it is near airport and small, stony beach.

Don't expect a wild time at the Picasso. It's quiet (no bar) and with a no frills breakfast. However, the staff are exceptional, the location (in an upmarket residential area) and proximity to some lovely little restaurants great. And all only 10 mins from the airport. Would definitely stay again.

A wonderfully relaxing little hotel in a quiet residential area just 3 kms from Malaga Airport (but beware, taxis from the airport have a minimum charge of 19 Euros). The rooms are arranged in a L-shape around the terrace with a swimming pool, sunshine all day. Pay the extra for breakfast, it is well worth it, as good and better than many 4 star hotels. Staff are friendly and helpful and spoke better English than we did Spanish. Golf Course nearby (the sister of one of the staff is the Professional there). Highly recommended.
