This hotel is in an excellent location, just near the cathedral, it was spotlessly clean, and the staff were lovely and very patient with our lack of Spanish. It's not luxurious, but it's excellent value for money, and we'll definitely stay there again.

Booked this place for one night as we had to spend the day and evening in Malaga and wanted a base in the middle of town. I wish I had been able to stay, it is small and looks basic but really clean and friendly (odd sense of humour behind the desk but at least they have one). The location is just perfect though - a short walk from the Casa de Guardia bar which seems like a locals only bar but is really nice and tolerant to tourists and very cheap.. See picture. The hotel is so close to the shops and restaurants we felt very privileged and very much part of the central town scene. We will be going back for sure.

I stayed there at the begining of June of 2010. The location is perfect - no more than 15min. walking from all the places of attraction. Despite that hotel is in the very center of the city, it is in quiet place. The best choise for those who are enjoying city center or beach and need only a shower and a bed. The only disadvantage was TV (despite free porn chanel :)) - the signal was weak, so the view and sound were with breaks.

You'll not find a more centrally located hotel in Malaga centre. We booked here for five nights having read the positive reviews and there is not not to add. The only problem we had was some late night revellers on the street below but it was not too bad and we did not experience any traffic noise, that is reported in other review, even though we were on the second floor at the front. The Cage Moka - left out the door and left again was a good place for breakfast; try the amazing Sandwich Moka. We ate twice at Gorkis three blocks (Calle de Strachan) away and enjoyed it greatly. We also tried the Arab place El Yamil which was also very good. We would not recommend the vegetarian restaurant in C. Poza del Rey, off Alcazabilia.
Others have mentioned the 19 bus from the airport which stops in Alameda Principal, a few yards from the hotel. The bus back stops in the central part of Alameda Principal at the stop next to the lottery kiosk. Journey time is 30 minutes and it runs every 35 minutes 1.10 euro.
