Our room was clean and very pleasant - furnished to a higher standard than I expected for a budget hotel (€57 for one night). There's no breakfast available.
If you're driving there one thing you need to know is that the hotel parking which may be advertised is actually the large underground municipal car park close by in the Plaza de la Marina (follow the Marina signs). The hotel supplies you with a card which gives you a discount rate of €5 overnight (8pm to 9am), but you pay the full rate of something like €1.50/hour in the daytime. Don't try to drive right up to the hotel (as we did) - the street is narrow and no entry except for authorised vehicles.
My initial impression of the reception staff was not promising - when I explained that we had a car blocking the street outside the first reaction was a shrug, followed by an explanation of where we should have parked in rapid Spanish, which I had to ask to be repeated several times before I could understand it. However once that problem was out of the way the staff were reasonably friendly and helpful.
