“Great location and friendly staff. A good base for Malaga visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 December 2010

I stayed here for 3 nights, and was very pleased. The hotel is very well located - a short walk from the Centro Metro station, (from which you can easily get to the airport, or the main train station for intercity trains to places like Seville). The check-in was very professional, and I got a nice room at the front of the hotel on the 7th floor.
There was a nice view out over the dry river bed, and towards the shopping streets on the other side of the river bed.
One of the nice features of the hotel is that the baths have whirlpool jets in them, so you can pour in lots of shampoo and have a whirlpool bubble bath when you come back after sightseeing. The TV had about 40 channels including quite a few English language ones (BBC news / Bloomberg / CNN).
Breakfast was very good - and a very friendly and helpful lady looking after the breakfast room with a cheerful welcome each morning. The selection included hot scrammbled eggs, sasaughes and fried mushrooms, as well as a wide selection of cold cheeses and meats and cakes.
The giant El Corte Ingles department store is a few blocks away from the hotel, and in the other direction is the main downtown part of Malaga city.
I would reccomend this hotel for anyone going to Malaga on a business trip, or short break. And i would definetly use this hotel again.

“Fine for a short stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 December 2010

Stayed overnight before cruise from Malaga. This is a perfectly reasonable hotel for the class. The rooms are not huge, but adequate for short stays. Our room had a nice view over the river and surrounds. The hotel is well located, central to the city, old quarter, bars, restaurants etc. Buffet breakfast was very good, including some hot items. Reception staff friendly and helpful.

“Disappointing sleep.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 November 2010

Stayed her for one night after a cruise as it is fairly central and close to the train station for easy access to the airport. To start with the positives we arrived at 8:30am and after a slight shrug of the shoulders the guy at reception gave us a room. The room itself was basic but fine, I'd say a good 3*.

However the problem we encountered was with the uncomfortable bed and the noise from the traffic. The bed was quite hard and the pillows were terrible. Very uncomfortable and added to the fact that we were at the front of the hotel and could hear the morning traffic it did not make for a great sleep.

We paid extra for breakfast but were unable to make it as we were late getting up due top the lack of sleep. However somebody in our group mentioned it was very poor.

There are plenty of hotels within a couple of hundred yards and I'd try somewhere else if in Malaga again.

“good value for money”

Very nice hotel located central in Malaga. All the major attraction were in walking distance.

The room was small but well equiped and clean.

The staff were very helpful and friendly

I can only recommend the hotel

“10 out of 10”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 November 2010

Spain was our first place for our long trip via Euro – SEA and we picked Malaga. We were so lucky and quite enjoy in here. Our Hotel has a perfect location (just few steps walking to the central and bus station). It also has a great deal with very good price and free breakfast which also was great too. Our room was clean, quiet and very comfortable for our sleep at night time even day time too. These things had said everything about this hotel already. It is 10 out of 10 for us to rate this hotel.
