I really liked the AC Palacio.
We had a big comfortable room with a balcony and a fantastic view over the cathedral which is almost next door. It was very quiet and good sun block curtains. Most important.
The beds were comfortable and the bath great.
There were some nice touches like a good radio and an free mini bar. For me this is terrific as I always need lots of water and here I did not have to go out to buy it. We got a a good weekend rate but over all I think it is greatly over priced and we went to a bar for breackfast for a couple of euros instead of 16 each. I think these hotels get away with charging lots to the companies that book in their employees.

The internet was expensive and poor. My computer never would connect but my husbad was able to log on for free in the business centre. I think that Spain , on the whole , has not really got good WIFI and is not yet properly set up for free connectivity

I loved Malaga . I have been there before but long ago and only a day or 2. The Picasso Museum is wonderful and a must. It is a very short walk from the AC.
I would certainly stay here again but only if I got a good rate. The restaurants around are just GREAT but if it were full price I would stay a bit further out.

Our two nights in the AC were just perfect. This is a very comfortable extremely well located hotel that exceeded our expectations. Our room was modern and well presented with great views and a very reasonable price. The roof terrace was a delight, staff very friendly and (a first for us) a free mini bar, providing soft drinks, water and beer. Highly recommend this hotel and look forward to spending more time here.

This hotel really surprised me; honestly, I wasn't expecting much. Check in was fast and efficient after a very long day of travel from the US. My room was huge, even by US standards. Looking over the port, I could see palm trees and cruise ships. The hotel is located in a very bustling area, and many highlights of Malaga are within short walking distance. The televisions were a bit cranky, but I blame low batteries in the remote control. My extra large balcony was a nice surprise, but it had no chairs - as nice as it looked, it wasn't an inviting place to stand. Complimentary mini bar was wonderful, a concept I wish would catch on in other hotels across the world. Room service late one evening was quicker that expected, but the burger was subpar. Realizing most people don't eat burgers in Spain, this really came as no surprise; I wasn't here for the burger afterall. The complimentary lobby wifi worked perfectly. The breakfast was typical European variety, but very good with lots of choices including fried eggs and bacon. Local dinner reservations were made without hassle by the front desk. Checkout was fast and efficient. All in all, I'd stay here again. In fact, I'll be back there this weekend again. Looking forward to the ultra comfy bed and bathroom, too.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. We got a good price for the night but wouldn't have been happy paying more. Breakfast was disappointing with very little choice at €15 plus taxes. The location is excellent.
