Down in Malaga for 4 nights with my best friend, the rooms are large and clean and the view over malaga is breathtaking. We very much enjoyed the top floor sundeck area with the swimming pool. All rooms have sea views and balcony overlooking Malaga.

We will remember most the views from this hotel, high on the hill, watching the cruise ships sailing the Mediterranean. Our outdoor table on the second floor restaurant overlooked a wedding below and serranaded us with "Moon River" and cheers of "viva los novios"!
We loved our appetizers and entrees, the dessert was unremarkable. The parking is limited but there a valet positioned to assist. The parador has big inviting public spaces for lingering but the only internet available is in a narrow phone booth with one hightop chair that is uncomfortably akward. Our room had a tiny balcony with a unusual grate gate. The bathroom was clean and modern with tiled walls and floors but a bit cramped. The beds were oversized twins but very comfortable, the bedroom floor was tiled which we appreciate. The upholstery and curtains were in very good shape. We stayed two nights and attempted to check out at 7AM but the lobby was dark and we had to wander to find a cleaning woman who woke the reservation clerk and finally we had our bill 20 minutes later. I would recommend warning the front desk if you plan to check out early. The pool was too small to be inviting.

Location is superb, overlooking the sea with the possibility of seeing Maroco in the evening when it is clear. It is a quiet place in an own park. The swimming pool is an amazing place overlooking the sea and the castle closeby. Rooms are good, maybe slightly outdated for one with a critical eye. Breakfast selection is great, one of the best we had.

The restaurant was overpriced and pretentious. The service was terrible and the food was even worse. Wine was poured in a way a five year old does. Avoid this restaurant at all cost.
