Just to let you know we have all arrived safely back home and thought that I would just send you an email to say A BIG THANKYOU. We have had a terrific time, your apartment E5 AT MAR AZUL is absolutely beautiful and the Mar Azul was great. We have all thoroughly enjoyed it. The quality of accommodation was fantastic, it was really nice to go somewhere with all the home comforts. We would love to go again and will be in touch with you again to arrange this. Our children loved it, the teenagers were really happy with the Wi-fi and loved being able to take their computers and keep in touch with their friends on facebook on an evening. The staff were really helpful, especially Mimi, Carlos at the Pool Bar and the lifeguard Salomee who really was very nice and helpful, in fact she really entertained our youngest daughter who is only 5 and learning to swin, and would give her floats etc in the pool to help her......Paco was great too, he collected us from the airport and took us back this morning and was really friendly and helpful
The pool area is so well kept and clean, I don't think we have every been anywhere before where the staff pay so much attention to ensure how clean the areas and pool are kept. The pool bar was open every day (in fact it was actually closing today) so it was well timed on our part as we used it every day and found it very convenient for drinks and snacks for us all. Also Maria who runs the Pool Bar we visited her restaurant called LA PAMPA in Estepona and can honestly say the best place we ate whilst being there, the food and service was absolutely outstanding.

We stayed in E-2 and had a wonderful time. The peaceful and tranquil nature of the pool areas and beach make this an ideal location for relaxation. For those of you that are looking for the party, don't worry, Puerto Banus is only a few minutes away. I would really recommend this resort to anyone. Families were all around, singles as well. The staff was very professional and accommodating. Solome is the best, she can steer you to some of the great restaurants that are a little off of the beaten path.

I have now stayed at Brian's apartment E5 for the past 3 years in a row and I dont usually return to the same destination twice. If you want to get away for a completely relaxing break this is the place to go, my sister and I (on our annual girls holiday) dont even bother to hire a car, we go to the Supermarket at the beginning of the week by taxi to buy drinks and snacks for lunch and then get taxis out for dinner in the evening either to Estepona (5 minutes) or buzzing Porta Banus (20 minutes). Brian's apartment is very luxurious and everthing you could possibly want is supplied including UK TV channels!!! The apartment is right next to the pool (15 feet or so) which means you can pop in and out as much as you like without an inconvenient long walk. This year a pool bar has opened which provides very good food and drink all day. As a guaranteed week of good weather (usually reliable in this part of Spain) and lovely, luxurious accomodation and facilities, I couldnt recommend it highly enough. I will no doubt be back again next year. Thanks Brian!!

This is the second year running we have stayed in Mak's apartment at Mar Azul Resort (see www.marbellaresorts.com) and i have already booked for next year. The kids (2 & 6) absolutely love it. The whole area is so secure and the comfort of having 24hr security guards and CCTV gives total peace of mind. They love to play on the grass in the garden and then run in and out of the pools. There are 2 life guards so we were never worried. Apparently the life guards will be giving swimming lessons from now on which will be great for next time we are there. The apartment is very nice with wonderful views over the pools and the sea. Its such a peaceful place to be and all the staff are very helpful. The grounds are beautifully maintained and everything is so tasteful and classy. Can't wait for next year!
