We have just returned from a week at Gran Playa, the hotel is lovely, very clean nice rooms, although we did upgrade when we got there. The hotel seems to cater mostly for the French, they don't seem to like the English tourist. Reception staff are friendly and helpful, the restaurant staff are rude miserable and unfriendly. Good selection of food but the hot food is luke warm if you're lucky. There are no shops close by, you really do need a car. We won't be staying there again.

First of all I would like to thank you for your comments, as the best way we have to improve our service quality is through them. At the same time, I deeply regret not having achieved your satisfaction during the most appreciated days of the year: YOUR HOLIDAYS.
Let me explain that, although our guests are from different countries, we always try to get everybody’s satisfaction and the staff is constantly trained in that way.
I am very sorry for your comments about the restaurant service. All our training is led to improve the staff kindness to our guests, as this is the most important aspect for us. We work very hard daily to achieve it and we invest a lot of time and money organizing training courses during 6 months at least all year long. Every employee has a minimum of 24 compulsory training hours a year. Apart from that, the staff can attend a great number of free choice specializing courses. For that reason, I would be very grateful if you would be so kind as to contact us to study your comment in depth and to be able to take the appropriate correcting measures, so that this situation never happens again.
Regarding your comment on food temperature, let me tell you that we are very concern about serving food with the correct temperature. But there are different appreciations between Mediterranean and Central European nationalities, as in the South the meal is eaten not so hot. We make a great effort explaining our staff this important difference in order to satisfy our guests’ necessities
