We booked this hotel as it was apparently only a few minutes drive from Marbella - more like a thirty minute drive. We felt we had been lied to about its location, upon arrival we were also very dissapointed to find out that there was no food available as it was 10pm at night. We went to our room and couldn't believe it was four stars. The decor in the hotel is very dated, the rooms are basic, there is no satelite TV, comfy chairs etc. The food is very basic, breakfast was abuffet style and the food seemed stale and cold. One evening we used the hotel restaurant, which was another buffet - it was disgusting and cost 22 Euro per person. I would not recommend it at all. Overall a very dissapointing hotel which is over graded.

Hi, was just wandering if anyone knows if there is any entertainment planned for 2012 and if the all inclusive package includes drinks with dinner. I have tried to email hotel but it keeps malfunctioning any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Went to this hotel last Thursday based on the review given on the Thomas Cook website. Arrived late Thursday evening to find the hotel was at least a 20 minute taxi journey from Marbella itself (Thomas Cook website says a 'few' minutes) then to find the room for THREE people turned out to be two single beds pushed together with a camp bed as the third!! It was not even big enough for a small eighteen year old girl never mind a fully grown adult!! The room smelt musty and dirty, mould was growing on the carpets and bathroom ceiling, paint was falling off the walls and lights were also falling off the wall! After going to reception to talk about the problem we were told there was nothing they could do we had to deal with Thomas Cook direct which from Spain on a mobile phone proved very expensive especially when the people on the other end of the phone could not be understood! Much to our disgust we had no choice but to stay at the hotel that night and left the following morning! Thomas Cook however were very helpful in cancelling our booking at this hotel and not so helpful in finding us somewhere new to stay!! We then spent the second day of our holiday walking round Marbella in the heat off our own accord hoping to find a hotel to stay for the rest of our holiday! As we only went for a long weekend this time consumed alot of our holiday and put a dampner on the whole situation! The write up and pictures shown on the Thomas Cook website are a complete fraud!! Either they are talking about another hotel or they find it completely acceptable to lie to customers!! I feel totally let down by Thomas Cook, Expedia travel and the hotel. Terrible experience!! This was a terrific hotel. First of all, the view from my balcony was of the gigantic pool AND the Mediterranean Sea. Spectacular. The room was clean, the pool was refreshing, and the students I was traveling with loved the buffet breakfast and dinner. So much to choose from, AND kid friendly. They had something for everyone. We were staying two nights and traveled to Morocco on our full day in Costa del Sol, so we didn't go to the beach, but another group we traveled with went and had a blast. Apparently, you can take the local bus down to the beach easily and cheaply. We went to Morocco, so we only got to enjoy the pool on our first day (fantastic), but the breakfast and dinner on both days. The bar is also nice with a friendly bartender who'll make anything you want. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone. I have no complaints.
