First time visit here, but certainly will return. The complex has been recently re painted and refurbished and looks spic and span now. The gardens are very carefully maintained and always seemed to have that `cared for` look about them.

The apartments are all privately owned and the quality therefore varies. The reception always has a selection to rent, but at a very expensive price...beware..there are better deals to be had here. The swimming pool is now solar heated and kept at a very warm temperature, no freezing before you get in!!!!

Reception staff were friendly and helpful. We used both Manolos restaurant/bar as well as Renato`s on the site. The latter being the more friendly and probably better value for money...Dont ask Manolo for any extras not on the menu or if you do get an estimate first!!!!! (10e for a small plate of cheese...rip off merchant)

There arnt many facilities as such, other than a laundry and table tennis table but off site there is a new Mercadona supermarket just down the road with a new Aldi currently being built right opposite the front door as well as a taxi rank between Natura and the new Spa Hotel next door.

Be warned however if you need a cash machine the nearest is in the port area at Estepona and although there is a bus stop outside the place the timetable is erratic and manana to say the least..

The beach just below the complex is a bit on the small side but adequate outside of peak holiday season with all the amenities you would expect including Renatos beach bar ..

We will certainly return, the many nationalities there are friendly and welcoming and we certainly had a relaxing holiday. What more can you say

Spent a wonderful few days in the CostaNatura in early Nov. We had visited many years before and saw many changes. No supermarket on site, now there is a large supermarket across the road. Restaurant is staffed by a wonderful chef Manolo, and we found the sevice extremely good. The ground are still very well maintained with manicured lawns, colourful plants and shrubs in abundance. The reception has very limited opening hours, however Francoise arranged all our requirements by email before our arrival. My only criticisms were; the overall cost and some building work was taking place in the resort. We shall return again.

“Sad museum of natursim”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 August 2009

"Too old fashioned" place for alderly guests where time stopped in late 60's together with any renovation projects or attractions for new customers. At this part of Spain the sea is too cold (ab 19-20 degrees) for nice leisure when accomodation or mood gives you little satisfaction. Although service staff is very polite neither apartments nor garden nor facilities convience you to stay longer until you decide to move and explore more beatutifull views of Andalusia.

“Know before you go”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 August 2008

We just got back from a long weekend stay at Costa Natura. You must certainly understand what you're buying before you go...we didn't. Please don't expect this to be a resort experience. This is a nice little group of apartments where the residents enjoy clothing as an option. Fair enough. The views of the Med are spectacular. The grounds are well cared for and very pretty. We took a stroll along the beach and found it to be quite nice despite some of the other reviews I've seen. You can easily find spots that are less rocky and have a nice swim...don't expect Caribbean warmth even on the hottest of days. Our room was small, but we didn't go there to stay in the room. We didn't have any bed linens, towels, or toilet paper until well into the afternoon. When the linens did arrive, they were just plopped on the bed for us to make it up. When we did finally decide to call it a night, we found that the sheets were still wet from laundering. Unless you buy food and drink to fill your fridge, you'll be eating at the restaurant there. The food was excellent. The service was terrible. We waited as if we were invisible. Perhaps the residents and the more regular guests get all the service and transients like us are an afterthought. Hard to tell. Also be aware that this is definitely a family resort. We knew this going, but didn't have a clue as to the amount of kids that would be there. There were a lot. It's not a quiet place. Also know that you need to bring you're own beach towels with you. We found this out the hard way. Yes, my eventually arriving bath towel served two purposes.

All in all, this is a nice place if you go there with proper expectations. This is not a getaway from it all resort. This is a lovely, family oriented, scenic place if you're looking for a naturist escape.

“Nice but expensive”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 June 2008

This was my fifth visit to Costa Natura but my girlfriend (now my wife's) first. The gardens are lovely and the whole place has a laid back feel to it. We enjoyed having lunch at Renato's on several days of our holiday and meeting some of the regulars who we've got to know over the years.

The apartments are of varying quality, but the one we stayed in this year (102) was pretty good, private, but with excellent views from the upper terrace.

The beach is not particularly inviting and shelves steeply, so we didn't swim in the sea.

We booked through reception which is probably the most expensive way to book - though you can book privately with some owners. The loss of part of the grounds a couple of years ago was a shame, as they now look very overgrown.

The best part for us, however, is that it's a naturist resort so you get an all-over tan.
