This is a beautifully designed hotel, with good facilities and location, so it was disappointing to find that they allow intolerable levels of noise from the adjacent late-night bar/disco to interfere with the comfort of their guests. While staff were understanding, it was clear that the hotel made no effort to control the noise made by late night revelers. It was also surprising to find that the bathrooms had no hot water.

We had a good time there, as European beds go, these were comfortable. The room service we had was quick and good. The only thing it was lacking is a business area with internet connected computers and printer. Also a minor detail, check-in time is 12 noon, and our room was not ready until 1300. Not a big deal, they should stagger them so the maid service can do their job. The breakfast was also very good and reasonably priced.

I went with my wife and 5 y.o. girl to spend a week. This is one of the worse hotels I have ever been in Europe. The whole hotel needs a complete refurbishment. The rooms were old fashioned and in bad condition. There were two swimming pools. One of them empty and the other had weeds. The surrounding of the swimming pool was full of cigarette butts. The breakfast was scarce and not worth 7 eur at all. But the most special attraction was a big black beetle that visited us in our room. There is no need to go there. There are for sure better options. This should be a 1 star hostel...

You're on the wrong side of town if you are in this place. Cadiz is certainly the place to be, and indeed Playa de la Victoria is the one to experience, so don't get bogged over in this place, as it is a marina only, and they make little effort to offer more. El Puerto Santa Maria is a little dull, to be honest, but still in any case, only go here if you are struggling for a better base.
