I stayed there for two nights in July 2005. The location is fine, just five minutes walk from the heart of El Puerto.
We had a price of 60€ for one night inc. tax exc. breakfast which is quite cheap for such quality. The rooms are fine but a bit old and the service is OK.
However, for such price and location, I would definitely stay there again.

Just wanted to post a comment about the Santa Maria Hotel which is on the quayside and within very easy walking distance of everything in Puerto. It's a clean and quite comfortable place with friendly staff and good prices. I stayed for one week whilst looking for a place to buy and felt quite at home. Being English, I was pleased that you could get a full buffet breakfast and not just Tostadas y cafe. Just up the road is the Osborne sherry bodega where you can do a tour and a tasting then stagger back to the hotel. Round the corner is a great pavement restaurant for summer nights. And I liked the town so much, finished up buying an apartment.
