I have just returned from a week at Barrosa Park. Its location is very good; next to the huge, sandy beach and within walking distance of Novo Sancti Petri golf club. The rooms are clean and fairly large with balconies (some rooms have enormous balconies, mine was smaller but adequate). The food is superb with bacon, eggs and omelettes cooked to order and milk shakes made from fresh fruit at breakfast. At dinner there are four choices of meat/fish cooked to order plus many pre-cooked items on offer. The only adverse criticism I have is that there are no safes in the rooms; you have to hire a safe next to reception.

I have been organising golf holidays for the last 10 years and , without a doubt, this is the best hotel pound for pound, that we have found. We played courses several miles from the resort, I understand that the local courses are very good, and found them excellent. Arcos Gardens, Montecastillo and Sherry Golf are fabulous. We will return, which is very rare with my group.

We stayed at the Barrosa Park hotel for a week in March and loved every minute of it. The hotel, imaculately clean and located on one of the most beatiful beaches in the region, is run by knowledgeable, courteous and exteremely helpful staff. Its amenities include a gorgeous indoor pool, a gym, a large outdoor pool (which we didn't try because it was too cold), and a bar that stretches into the garden. Food was excellent, both for breakfast and dinner, and they had plenty of good stuff to eat for our 18-month-old son. The hotel is children-friendly _ we saw several couples with very small babies _ yet it is big enough for other guests not to have to listen to your baby screaming. Barrosa Park is within 30 minutes' drive of the beautiful towns of Vejer and Medina Sidonia, both well worth visiting, and only 40 minutes by car from Cadiz and Jerez, making it an ideal base for day trips if it gets too windy or cold (which it does quite often at this time of the year). All in all, we found our stay extremely relaxing and will definitely come again.

We went to the Barrosa Park with PC Promotions in Ireland and we had a ball from start to finish. The hotel is excellent with great facilities and the staff are brilliant. Anything you needed was catered for. The only downside to it is because of the vast array of food at dinner time, its hard to know what to choose!!!
Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Spain
