“Continues to be great”

I keep coming back to the Sol Sancti Petri and it continues to meet and exceed my expectations. This visit was no exception. Friendly and efficient staff. Very pleasant room/apartment with pool view. The quality of the buffet breakfast seems to have improved since my last visit but the machine-produced coffee is still vile!!! Buy a cafe-con-leche at the bar instead.

My suggestions for improvement are
1. Update the bathrooms - they are becoming dated
2. Provide a small amenity pack for guests containing a) a sponge/scrubber (for washing up dishes) b) a little bottle of washing up liquid c) a little bottle of kitchen cleaner
3. More English-language TV channels would be welcome.

I am returning for another visit in September and am looking forward to it.

“Fab!”

Just returned from an 8 day stay at Sol Sancti Petri. This aparthotel exceeded my expectations on all counts and for the price we paid, €36.50/night (Room rate for 2 persons), it was a bargain! Apartments are immaculately clean, bright and breezy. Fully controllable air con in all apts, small kitchenette with fridge etc. Maid service every day. Immensely helpful and cheery staff throughout the hotel (but it helps if you speak a little Spanish). Nice pool and bar. No experince of in-house restaurant but a number of excellent options within walking distance of the hotel. My only criticism is a minor one - that the hotel had no Englisg-speaking TV channels (not even CNN - though that's probably no bad thing!). Clientele seems to be predominantly German and that may explain this. WOuld definitely stay here again.

“Sol Sancti Petri - very good choice”

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the appart hotel.
Beautiful setting, good quality appartments (up to 4 persons), sea views, good beach and swimming pool.

Could improve on dinner buffet but you can always pop in to the next door victoria to enjoy their dinner.

Prices in May were funny 32euro for 2 pers. in appart.
Join melia membership for free and you get breakfast for free, buy one get one.

The lawn and beddings are maintained to a highest standard.

Will certainely return.

“Very Enjoyable- Would Return”

My partner and I stayed for a week here in June 2003. The hotel offers a very good standard of accomodation- we were pleasantly surprised.

We stayed on a half board basis and the food here, especially the evening meal, is lovely! There is a good range of food available- so even picky eaters will find something.

The pools were very nice, but my main criticism is that you have to get there very early for a sun lounger. Lots of people leave their towels on the loungers all night which is very annoying, but if you dont mind getting up early, then you will find somewhere to relax. The beach is only about 100 metres away and was deserted most of the time we were there.

There is not a lot to do at night- (if you like lively entertainment)- but there are shops and bars in walking distance, if you feel like a stroll.

The staff were very friendly and efficient- I had an allergic reaction whilst there and they were very concerned. The local medical centre is first class and I was seen by a doctor who could speak English within 10 minutes. The staff at the hotel not only organised a mini bus to take us to the medical centre, but also waited for us to finish and then dropped us back again.

Very good stay overall, will definitely return in future- sun lounger hogs were annoying though- however, they may not be there when you go?
