I stayed here on the basis of the reviews that I read. I usually go 4 or 5*, occasionally 3. I truly can't remember the last other time I stayed in a 2* hotel. But the reviews were so positive, I figured "what the heck".
They were spot on. The hotel is tatty, but very clean and the people who run it are fantastic. Breakfast was very good and they made special things for us. It's about a km walk (mostly along the river) into the heart of the old city.
It's not a 4* hotel that got miscoded, but it's surely one of the best in it's class.

Located very close to the cordoba historic centre. The parking site was free in front of the hotel but very packed, do first come first serve. The room was excellent. It was clean, roomy, has air-conditioner, comlplete set of towels etc. The ensuite is clean too though the shower head might be better replaced with new one. Hot water available 24 hours. Non of the staff speak any English, so we interact with sign language haha but ended up catching some spanish words thanks to that. The breakfast was cheap for variety of choice available. We are very satisfied with our stay, won't hesitate to stay here again in the future.
