A very nice place to stay with very friendly hostesses. We and our 3 kids felt save and at ease there. Too bad they don't offer breakfast...

Stayed at this hostal for one night in Cordoba with two other friends. It was a last-minute booking and we were so lucky to grab a room during the busiest time of the year in Spain, Holy Week.

Everyone who works there were very friendly, professional, and helpful with your questions about Cordoba. Our room was on the first level and it overlooked the lovely courtyard; it was very spacious, had three twin beds, a private & spacious bathroom (we soooo appreciated the nice shower stall after our other stays w/ rooms with broken shower heads) and 'extra' touches in the room & the hostal that shows the owners care for their guests. The room included free wifi and the location is a few minutes walk to Cordoba's main attraction, the Mezquita.

I would definitely recommend this hostal during your trip in Spain; for us, it was one of the loveliest & most memorable hostals we have stayed during our 10 day trip in Spain.

Right at the heart of Cordoba, only a couple of minutes short walk away from the Cathedral (previously a mosque). Staff are extremely helpful, and give good tips about where to go to visit the city, etc. Parking is not a problem unless you need your car to go around the city, but that's hardly ever necessary. The rooms at the front can be a bit noisy, since the windows look onto the street, but the ones overlooking the courtyards are quiet. Very clean, all rooms have a bathroom en-suite. I can't think there are better places in Cordoba to stay for the amount I paid! Even has internet access.

Friends of ours saw this hostal while in Cordoba (but didn't stay there). There opinion was it looked like a good place to stay--close to major attractions, attractive courtyards, clean rooms, nice staff. All of those things are true, but the beds were uncomfortable, the ceiling fan didn't work, the AC did work but was really noisy, and worst of all, the noise from motor bikes and cars and, most especially, the trash dumpsters being emptied in the night right under our windows, made this place a nightmare. Also, the next street is full of women who appeared to be prostitutes, which may have accounted for some of the late-night traffic down our street! The hostal is not staffed at night with English speakers. This presented a problem when our friend's door lock was broken (?) and a workman had to be summoned. It took them one and one-half hours to break the lock and get her into her room, which could then only be locked by a flimsy slide-lock on the inside. Meanwhile, she had fallen asleep sitting up in the courtyard!! Maybe this problem is a recurring one, because our door could only be locked while we were inside by use of a similar slide lock. Finally, the hostal says it has parking. Yes, it does. But, you have to drive to a parking garage several blocks away and then walk back through the throng of women soliciting business. Moreover, getting to the hostal is extremely difficult and the hostal did not provide directions when we booked.
