Rooms were clean if a little cramped, and at 45EUR for a double, very attractively priced. No complaints about the very convenient location or the staff.
I would not return to this hostal because of the thin walls and poor ventilation. Perhaps rooms with an exterior window were better, but ours looked out onto an inside corridor only -- there was no indication of this at time of booking. There was very little air and the room was stuffy. Worse, all the adjacent rooms' plumbing seemed to pass through the same pipes as ours, and we could hear our neighbours showering, using sinks, and using the toilet as if they were in our room. Conversations and movements in the halls and adjacent rooms were very audible.
Unless you are planning to stay out until 2 or 3 a.m. nightly, this is a place where you will hear the comings and goings of all your fellow travellers.
