We stayed at Hotel Selu for 2 nights, and I wish it had been 0 nights!
Location was good, close to RENFE (which we needed), short walk to the main attractions, as well as comercial area of Plaza Tiendillas. However, arriving at midnight, the narrow alleys were a little scary.
I am the kind of traveller, that when it comes to hotels, as long as it is clean, has running water and it doesn't stink of cigarette smoke, I am okay. After all, I only need the room/hotel to sleep, not to hang out.
The decor is just horrible, I could not get over it. However, the bathroom was new and nice.
The walls are paper thin, and we could not go to sleep before 1am, since the family next door seemed to be having a blast, laughing over something obviosuly hilarious to them.
Overall, the worst part is that despite the hotel being "no smoking", the room stank. It seemed that the smell was coming from the ventilation system. When we complained, the answer was "The hotel is no smoking... but if somebody is smoking in their room, we can't do anything about it." That is some useful policy...
If I were to go back to Cordoba, I would definitely not pick this place.

We stayed in Cordoba for a night on our way from Sevilla to Madrid. Since we had an early morning train to Madrid, we wanted to stay close to the train station. This hotel was fine for that purpose. Be mindful that the hotel walls/doors are thin and the beds were hard; however, the room was clean. The walk into the city center is a bit confusing and takes about 15 mins. They also charge for the use of the in-room safe which I found odd.

I stayed at this hotel just for one night and now I am happy I didn't book for a longer stay.

The staff is not really friendly, even though English is spoken at the reception (this is an exception everywhere in Spain).

The hotel claims to have a WiFi connection available for the visitors, and that's one of the reasons why I have booked there, but the connection was not working (they told me "maybe tomorrow").

The room was clean, but very small, dark and in bad condition. Furniture was old and both doors of the closet were missing!

By booking at this hotel I just took advantage of the very central location.
I am looking forward to visit Cordoba again, but surely staying in a different hotel.

stayed in this hotel as part of a archers/cosmos tour.This is a pretty centrally located hotel.Friendly staff,good food lovely facilities.Would stay there again.
