We stayed at the hostel for 5 nights in april 2011. Both in an apartment and then i a 4-bed room with shared bathroom. The staff is very nice and helpful. The hostel is clean. There is a nice terasse on top of the building with a shared kitchen. We really liked it a lot. The location is perfect in the old town of Alicante. Close to the beach to.

This place is a hidden gem. We were placed in what can only be described as a mini apartment, with 2 bedrooms, kitchen, lounge area, en suite bathroom. It looked brand new or certainly just refurbished. All this for under £20 per person per night. Staff were very helpful and laid back. Views out of my bedroom window of the castle and santa maria church were stunning. The roof terrace was also brilliant for relaxing with beers. They had a paella party on the Friday, which amazingly was free - shows the generosity of Spanish culture compared to over here in the UK.

Went with mates but would bring partners/ even family here. Be sure to request one of these apartments, especially if there's more than 2 of you. Well worth it!

It was a hostel for families and not for young people that want to party!
Otherwise the hostel is very clean!
The terasse view is wonderful.
But there was no ambiance, the terrace was always empty..
Very good hostel to rest but if you want to party, go somewhere else!!

This hostal is excellently located in the old neighborhood of Alicante. From the rooftop terrace you have beautiful views over the nearby church and Alicante castle. The rooftop terrace is a bonus but some guest tend to party over there so it can get a bit noisy. The rooms are very basic but clean. Same for the shared bathrooms. The staff at the receptiondesk was multilingual and very friendly. Overall a very good price-quality ratio. Recommended.
