Excellent hotel. We had a lovely stay, large well appointed room, beautiful view from the balcony. We had an excellent supper in the hotel restaurant. Local bus service to downtown was close by. Knowledgeable hotel staff.

Parking is at a premium in Andalucia, so this is a real bonus if travelling by car (the hotels we stayed in in Seville and Granada charged for parking)! The hotel is on a hill overlooking Cordoba, so can be a few degrees cooler when the temperature is high, which can be another plus. This parador is not in a historical building, but nevertheless is very well appointed with marble floors, very spacious rooms and a really lovely pool terrace and outdoor seating areas. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Also had dinner here which was also very good. Regular buses run from just outside the hotel into the centre of Cordoba, and the taxi fare was only a few euros. Would definitely stay here again if travelling by car.

Our stay in Cordoba was to break up a trip from Jaen to Arcos, and also to see the Mesquite. Although this is a more modern Parador it was perfect for our stay and only a short drive to the city. Easy check-in (glad for the Amigos card) and an extra free drink while we waited for our room - and we were early. Clean, comfortable room and nice breakfast with lots of choice

We stayed here for one night when my husband had a conference there and it was fantastic. Our room was huge with great views of the garden and the pool. We had a lovely sunny terrace as well. The hotel itself was quiet, clean and well appointed with everything you could want. The staff were really helpful and friendly as well. We had dinner there on the Saturday night as well and it was a lovely meal. We did not feel we were missing out on the bright lights of Cordoba as we only live about an hours' drive away. We had breakfast served on our terrace in the morning. Overall, it was a lovely experience.
